In this Discussion, you will have an opportunity to discuss your role and experience in the Conflict Management Simulation—a human resource professional striving to help a manager and employee manage the conflict that has arisen between them. This life-like scenario and the simulation were designed not only to put you in the “driver’s seat,” but also to give you this opportunity to reflect, which is a process essential to professional growth. 
Now that you have completed the Simulation, consider what you have learned about conflict management and interacting with others as an HR professional. Also, review the Learning Resources and then address the following:
Post by Day 3 a cohesive and scholarly response based on your readings and research this week that addresses the following:
Reflect on how the meeting with the employee and manager went and discuss at least 2 key takeaways from your simulation experience.
Analyze the approach you took, as well as your skills, with regard to guiding the collaborative conflict management process and using active listening.
Discuss the effectiveness of the collaborative conflict management strategy you used and share your rationale.
Were you satisfied with the way you brought the meeting to a close? Why or why not? In what ways might you have improved this vital step in conflict management in the workplace?
